If you use the equals sign (=) inside a template MediaWiki will break the template's output. You will have to surround the equals sign (or the whole block of text, if you have several) with tags like so: {{Commandline|do something<nowiki>your text here = something}}. This is a technical limitation that you will have to keep in mind while using templates.
